#41 Grief, Community, Ritual & The Wild Edge of Sorrow with Francis Weller

Francis Weller, MFT, is a psychotherapist, writer and soul activist. He synthesizes psychology, anthropology, mythology, alchemy, indigenous cultures and poetic traditions, and has introduced the healing work of grieving and ritual to thousands of people around the world. He is the author of several books including one of my all time favorites, The Wild Edge of Sorrow. Our conversation explores the many forms and facets of grief, and the importance of ritual and community in healing our world both internally and externally.

#40 Finding Beauty & Meaning in the Breakdown with Tarah Edmonds

On paper, it doesn’t seem that Tarah and I have anything in common. She has 3 kids, she’s over a decade older than me, she lives across the country and has had vastly different life experiences than me, and yet, we have an exceptional amount in common. From early childhood trauma, to health issues, to recognizing the importance of healing from the inside out as to not pass on our BS to the next generation, we couldn’t be more alike. This episode is one of vulnerability, friendship, transition and creating community across superficial divides.
