For many years I struggled with how to define myself. The cultural labels and norms I grew up with never seemed to address the complexity and nuance of my everyday experience. It felt perpetually challenging for me to rationalize my divergent interests and avant-garde thinking into the limited scope of what I felt the was expected of me.
As a result, I went from being a passionate, creative and imaginative young person to an unengaged and discouraged adult.
At 28 I faced multiple traumatic events that helped re-acquaint me with my authentic self. After decades of living according to other people’s expectations, I made a decision to walk out on anything and everything that didn’t authentically serve me or the world I wanted to live in.
I currently host a podcast called “A Millennial’s Guide to Saving the World” and share my writing on Substack.
I have a BA in Gender & Sexuality from Sarah Lawrence College and studied Sexuality & Religion at the University of Amsterdam. I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Certified Astrologer and a Contact Beyond Contact dance & movement facilitator.
I currently live in the high desert of Crestone, CO, and am passionate about pursuing meaning, authenticity and belonging in troubled times.
In aligning my inner and outer self, I hope to inspire others to do the same.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
